Fruits Basket

Fruits Basket, is a shoujo manga series authored by Natsuki Takaya, since 1999. Tohru Honda, a high school student, recently became an orphan when her mother was killed in a car crash. With no place to live, the Sohma family gave her a place to call home. She even learns about Sohma's world of magical curses and family secrets. Tohru still is her cheerful and optimistic self, even though she has to go through a lot of hardships in her life.
