The Vision of Escaflowne

The Vision of Escaflowne is an anime directed by Kazuki Akane and a manga written by Katsu Aki. The story revolves around high school student Hitomi who is suddenly transported to the planet of Gaea. In this strange and mysterious planet, Earth is known as the Mystic Moon. Hitomi eventually meets a boy named Van and finds herself caught up in his quest, his past and later Hitomi discovers that she has a special ability and also finds the machine known as Escaflowne.
